Please note new registration changes that took effect in 2018! This program is open to all Irondequoit youth. Each playground provides a wholesome and age appropriate recreational experience for your child. Scheduled activities at each site include a variety of sports, games, crafts and swimming. Playground participation does not require the child to be in attendance each day. Playground participants are required to sign in and out daily.

You may register for just the morning session; just the afternoon session or both sessions.
Playground sites do have a maximum registration number. If a site is full, you may choose to register at a different site. A waitlist will be taken as well for each site. We would like to offer this opportunity to all interested Irondequoit youth. If you are unable to attend a week that you registered for, please let us know so that we can offer the spot to the next person on the waitlist. There will be no registration at the individual sites.

MEDICAL REGISTRATION:
Immunization records are required by law for all youth under 16 years of age upon registration for the Playground Program. Medical information and alternate emergency numbers are required on registration for all programs. Prior to registering for the Playground Program, online registrants must register and submit medical information and immunization records in the program that corresponds with their camp:

Our Summer Camps are licensed by and inspected by the Monroe County Department of Health as per Chapter 1 of the State Sanitary Code, Subpart 7.2 Children’s Day Camps. Said Regulations of this code may be examined at the Irondequoit Bureau of Recreation Office, 154 Pinegrove Avenue, during regular office hours. Inspection reports are also on file. This program is funded in part by the NYS Office of Children and Family Services through the Rochester Monroe County Youth Bureau. Transportation is not provided to and from playground sites.

Days/Dates: Mon-Fri July 1 – Aug 9 (weekdays only, no program July 4th and 5th)
Times: 9:00-11:30 am & 12:30-3:00 pm*
* Playgrounds open July 1st at 12:30 pm and close August 9th at 11:30am. Playgrounds are closed during the lunch hour, 11:30am-12:30 pm. All campers must go home during this time period. For full day program see Day Camps.*
