    1733 - Beginners Tap

    NEW!! INTRODUCTION TO BEGINNER TAP & TECHNIQUE (Ages 5-8)
    This class is for students who haven't tried tap yet, but who may be interested.
    Maybe they've seen a tap routine on television, or maybe they like the sound
    of the shoes. This class will help them with musicality, basic dance skill, and
    beginner tap sounds, movements, and steps. A fun routine to be performed
    with the help of a teacher at the end of the 4 week session. Dancers should
    dress comfortably and tap shoes are recommended. A limited number of extra
    tap shoes are available at the studio for those students that don’t have them.

    Jason Speirs, Director of Empire Tennis Academy, will coordinate the
    program and his staff will be teaching it. Having refined his teaching
    and administrative skills in New York City’s popular Roosevelt Island
    Racquet Club, Jason earned his way to Director of Tennis and now
    returns home to Rochester after 12 years to continue the tradition
    created by Rochester Hall of Famer Dave Strebel. This tennis
    program is for Entry Level players to Low Intermediate.
    The goal of the program will be to teach basic strokes and later
    to put them into drills and games that will show tennis can be a
    lot of fun to play. Come join us and have fun while you learn the

    NEW!! INTRODUCTION TO BEGINNER TAP & TECHINQUE (Ages 5-8)
    This class is for students who haven't tried tap yet, but who may be interested.
    Maybe they've seen a tap routine on television, or maybe they like the sound
    of the shoes. This class will help them with musicality, basic dance skill, and

    Little Lions Summer Soccer (Ages 2-9)
    Summer soccer will now be led by the professional full time coaches from Global Premier Soccer / Rochester Futbol Club and the enrichment specialists of Happy Feet. All curriculums facilitate the development of motor and coordination skills. All sessions are held in a fun and positive environment, where players are encouraged to play with a smile on their face to build brave, creative leaders.
    Ages 2-3: 2 & 3 year olds will enjoy nursery rhymes, songs and stories with "Bob the Bobcat" soccer ball. All activities will be taught through an age specific curriculum.
    Ages 4-6: 4-6 year olds will have a blast taking "Bob" the soccer ball on fun adventures through age appropriate games and activities.

    Teeny Tiny Boppers (Ages 18 months- 3 years)
    A dance class that incorporates basic beginner hip hop moves with overall coordination skills and works on helping students follow directions. Dancers will develop a brief routine to perform at the end of the six week session with the help of a teacher. Dancers should dress comfortably, in something non-distracting, with hair pulled back, and will dance either barefoot or in shoes that have not been worn outside.

    CPR (ages 16 and up)
    Teens and adults will learn how to provide single-rescue CPR, how to respond to a choking victim, perform rescue breathing and recognize/prevent heart attacks and strokes for an adult victim.
