2667 - CPR & 1st Aid (16yrs.+)
Learn how to provide single-rescuer CPR training, reduce the risk of injury/death by identifying/responding to chocking, breathing and cardiac emergencies in infants’ birth to 12 months, children ages 1-12 years and adults. First Aid (FA) training will include the skills of basic First Aid and accident prevention. A certification card will be issued upon successful completion of the course. Please bring a self-addressed stamped envelope. All supplies are included. Sign up for the entire day or just one course!

Falls Prevention Seminar
One-third of all people over the age of 65 and half of all seniors over the age of 80 fall every year, resulting in serious and debilitating injuries. The HCR Falls Prevention seminar can dramatically reduce your risk of falling and any subsequent injuries. This seminar will be led by APTA Board Certified Geriatric Certified Specialists, and will help you develop a personalized plan to reduce risks, improve balance, and strengthen mobility, helping you to remain safely at home longer. Even though there is no cost for this seminar you must still register for the program.

Tina Scahill is a licensed health insurance and Medicare agent, and currently works full time in her family business, Ahrens Benefits Company. Tina loves helping and educating Seniors about Medicare. Tina knows that Medicare can be confusing, but she also knows that it doesn’t have to be! In this program, she will educate participants in the following:
• The different parts of Medicare
• When and how to apply
• The different types of insurance that are available
• How to choose the best plan for you
• Prescription drug costs and coverage, including the “donut hole”
• Ways to receive extra assistance with Medicare costs
