Register early and often so your programs do not get cancelled! Programs that have not met their minimum may be cancelled one week prior to the program start date.

Summer Camp Registration begins April 4th for Residents and May 2nd for Non-Residents. Playground Program Registration begins April 4th.

Our 4-class session for adult beginners is perfectly designed for people looking to try the best activity for improving their physical and mental well-being. You'll learn the basic rules, stance, footwork, and blade work in our beginner course. Fencing is a great sport for people of all ages and physical condition. All fencing equipment is provided.

    Tai Chi for Arthritis (Ages 55+)
    Presented by Lifespan of Greater Rochester, this is a falls prevention program to assist older adults to reduce their pain, stiffness, decreased range of motion, balance concerns associated with arthritis, and to promote fun, social means of increasing strength, flexibility and coordination. Focus on weight transference, imagining resistance, slow-non-stop movement, upright posture, loosening the joints, and focusing on movement (being in the present, concentrating on breathing from diaphragm to promote calm and peace.)

You’ll work on improving your range of motion, joint health and cardio respiratory circulation while exercising to contemporary, easy listening music. This class is taught in a "go at your own pace" setting and is appropriate for individuals with chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, mobility limitations, etc. Insurance discounts may be available-check with your insurance provider.     A workshop proven to increase activity levels and decrease the fear of falling among older adults. This is an 8-week class held once a week and is free.     Are you looking to get out, go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air, but don’t want to do it alone? Now you don’t have to! Join our walking club! On Thursday mornings from 10:30am to approximately 11:30am, we’ll walk a different path and end with a relaxing stretch exercise. We will enjoy a social at the end of our 8-week session, so you can continue your walking journey with the new friends you have made! Each “Strider” will receive a program T-Shirt. Participants must be able to walk at a brisk pace.

    Do you enjoying getting out to play golf with friends or hoping to join a welcoming league? We have just what you are looking for! This friendly league plays a 20-week season, each week we play 9 holes, and will have your stats available. We play at Shore Acres, located at 1165 Greenleaf Road. The first pair will tee off at 8:30 am and then tee times will start in approximately 7 minutes intervals after that. Fee includes registration and all greens fees. All levels of players are welcome! Need a partner? Give us a call and we’ll try to help pair you up with someone. Can’t commit to all 20 weeks, but still want to play? We keep a sub list; give us a call for more information: 336-6077
