Summer Camp Registration begins April 4th for Residents and May 2nd for Non-Residents. Playground Program Registration begins April 4th.

    2666 - Epic Training Courses

    Babysitter’s Training (Ages 11 and up)
    This course is designed to teach boys and girls the role and responsibilities of a babysitter and includes skills in: accident prevention, basic first aid, emergency recognition and more. Each student will receive a workbook, first aid trainer pack and certification card. Students should bring a bagged lunch and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

    Home Alone-Safety Day Class (Ages 7-14)
    This course is designed to teach children the importance of behaving responsibly and how to handle themselves when confronted with challenges while home alone. Topics include but are not limited to, first aid, what to do when a stranger comes to the door, telephone tips, Internet safety as well as how to react during a variety of miscellaneous emergencies such as a power outage. Also covered will be who and when to call in an emergency. Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision; preparation can make the transition much easier for you and your child. Course fee includes a workbook that will serve as a take home reference.

    This class is great for the first-time player; a fun and safe class to introduce your child to basketball while playing age appropriate games. Your little one will learn very basic ball handling skills, jumping, catching, and passing. Children will also work on gross motor skills and eye-hand coordination that are necessary to build motor skills used when playing basketball.     5122 - Falls Prevention Seminar

    Falls Prevention Seminar
    One-third of all people over the age of 65 and half of all seniors over the age of 80 fall every year, resulting in serious and debilitating injuries. The HCR Falls Prevention seminar can dramatically reduce your risk of falling and any subsequent injuries. This seminar will be led by APTA Board Certified Geriatric Certified Specialists, and will help you develop a personalized plan to reduce risks, improve balance, and strengthen mobility, helping you to remain safely at home longer. Even though there is no cost for this seminar you must still register for the program.

    Are you looking to get out, go for a walk and enjoy some fresh air, but don’t want to do it alone? Now you don’t have to! Join our walking club! On Thursday mornings from 10:30am to approximately 11:30am, we’ll walk a different path and end with a relaxing stretch exercise. We will enjoy a social at the end of our 8-week session, so you can continue your walking journey with the new friends you have made! Each “Strider” will receive a program T-Shirt. Participants must be able to walk at a brisk pace.

The first pair will tee off at 8:30 am and then tee times will start in approximately 7 minutes intervals after that. Fee includes registration and all greens fees. All levels of players are welcome!
