    3315 - Unicorn Quilt Camp

    NEW! Unicorn Quilt Camp (Ages 5 and UP)
    Please join us for a week of Unicorns and Quilting Fun! Students will begin the first day of the week choosing and sorting the fabrics for their Unicorn Quilts! Students will finish the week with a large 60” x 60” unicorn quilt! We recommend that students stay for the entire duration of this camp. If students finish early, they can make unicorn pillows and unicorn pillowcases to match their new quilt! Students should bring a non-perishable lunch daily.

    Enchanted Wonderland Pixie Oasis (Ages 4 and UP)
    Create your very own miniature oasis to lure in pixie fairies, dragons, and garden gnomes. You will be designing your very own magical Pixie house. The Pixies love color, magic and creativity. We will guide you through the process of creating the most charming little Pixie house; that you can hang in your garden or place in your home. Allow your inner child to create this magical oasis for all to see and to share for years to come. Supplies include an array of unfinished wooden houses to choose from, quality acrylic paints with a rainbow of colors, paint pens- for detailing the house, gems, moss, twigs, and stones in many colors! Children aged 4 must be accompanied by an adult.

    4949 - Beginning/Int Sewing

    Beginning/Intermediate Sewing (Grades 2-12)
    This class is great for children who are learning how to sew and/or are still working on some of the fundamental skills in sewing such as patience, problem solving, decision making and strengthening fine motor skills. Students enrolled in this class that already have some sewing experience, will be have additional elements such as zippers added to their projects to increase the levels of difficulty.
    Some of the skills students in this class will be working on are:
    - Threading sewing machines.
    - Winding bobbins
    - Using faster sewing machine stitches.
    - Sewing buttons
    - Working on higher speed machines.
    - Adding zippers seamlessly to products.
    - Learn to sew pockets.
    - Embroidery Stitches and more!
    Students in this class will begin the semester working on smaller items and will gradually progress through to larger projects.
    * If your child has taken this class before, they will be working on ALL new projects this semester and building on some of the skills they learned last semester.
    * On Saturday, December 7, 2019, students in the beginner/intermediate sewing class will also have the opportunity to create their own business and sell their products at our annual Munchkin Market at Village Gate Square.
