Summer Camp Registration begins April 4th for Residents and May 2nd for Non-Residents. Playground Program Registration begins April 4th.

    1254 - Wash Those Germs Away! (2-5yr)

    The most important thing you can do to keep from getting sick is to wash your hands. It’s also important that children learn how to do it properly. This 45-minute presentation teaches children what germs are, how germs are spread, and how to properly wash their hands. With the use of a magical hand lotion* that the children will use, they will SEE how dirt and germs stick to their hands. They will be amazed at how the germs will disappear by the end of class! They all receive stickers and an American Red Cross certificate of completion. Parents/guardians/Grandparents are welcome to stay and even participate! Please register only the child.

    Babysitter’s Training (Ages 11 and up)
    This course is designed to teach boys and girls the role and responsibilities of a babysitter and includes skills in: accident prevention, basic first aid, emergency recognition and more. Each student will receive a workbook, first aid trainer pack and certification card. Students should bring a bagged lunch and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

    Home Alone-Safety Day Class (Ages 7-14)
    This course is designed to teach children the importance of behaving responsibly and how to handle themselves when confronted with challenges while home alone. Topics include but are not limited to, first aid, what to do when a stranger comes to the door, telephone tips, Internet safety as well as how to react during a variety of miscellaneous emergencies such as a power outage. Also covered will be who and when to call in an emergency. Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision; preparation can make the transition much easier for you and your child.

    1949 - Sewing &Textile Arts(Gr 3& Up)

    The sewing/textile arts programs taught by Creativity Shell are customized and structured based on age, location, and size of the class we are working with. Structured programs are designed to give confidence to students. During the class sewing machines will be used and all materials and supplies will be provided. Students begin with easy projects with instant gratification. As the class progresses students will work on projects that take a few classes to complete and by the last few classes they are working on a larger project which incorporates techniques and skills they have learned such as adding zippers, pockets, button holes and more. Kids will do several projects over 12 weeks. New projects will be done so feel free to take the class again.

The Drama Kids specialty is using a wide range of unique drama activities to focus the bold, outgoing child and to draw out the quiet or inarticulate child and help them develop at their own pace. Each Kinder Kid student is highly involved in creative drama activities that develops speaking skills, builds confidence, and enhances early social skills and creative learning. Our Drama Kids instructors make sure all students feel comfortable and recognized so they will stretch and grow in a very positive environment. Known around the world as the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy, Drama Kids International is the most popular after-school children’s drama program in the world offering acting classes for toddlers, kids, and teens.     Babysitter’s Training (Ages 11 and up)
    This course is designed to teach boys and girls the role and responsibilities of a babysitter and includes skills in: accident prevention, basic first aid, emergency recognition and more. Each student will receive a workbook, first aid trainer pack and certification card. Students should bring a bagged lunch and a self-addressed stamped envelope.

    Home Alone-Safety Day Class (Ages 7-14)
    This course is designed to teach children the importance of behaving responsibly and how to handle themselves when confronted with challenges while home alone. Topics include but are not limited to, first aid, what to do when a stranger comes to the door, telephone tips, Internet safety as well as how to react during a variety of miscellaneous emergencies such as a power outage. Also covered will be who and when to call in an emergency. Knowing when your child is ready to stay home alone is a difficult decision; preparation can make the transition much easier for you and your child. Course fee includes a workbook that will serve as a take home reference.

Our 100% hands-on approach encourages kids to use science and math for real-world applications. Students build machines using different concepts such as: electricity, magnetism, hydraulics, wheels, and axles, gears, push-and-pull forces, and many more.
