Summer Day Camp Registration is open for Residents and begins for Non-Residents on Thursday, May 3rd. Playground Program Registration begins Wed., April 18th. Registration for all other Summer 2018 programs begins Thursday, May 3rd for Residents and Tues., May 8th for Non-Residents.

Register early and often so your programs do not get cancelled! Programs that have not met their minimum may be cancelled one week prior to the program start date.

    Why watch cartoons when you can make them? Would you like a chance to see your drawings come to life? Dave Puls, B.F.A., Creative Director at Animatus Studio, will teach the basics of animation during these workshops. What an opportunity to experience the joy of animation from an award-winning animator. Students will learn how to make a professional model and character description sheet and then they will animate their character for presentation on video. The animation will be shared with family and friends at the end of the final class. Please bring two #2 pencils with good erasers.

    Creative Kids Art Camp I (Ages 6-8)
    In a playful and supportive environment, kids will get creative and learn the fundamental building blocks of fine art and explore art history through each engaging project. Activities such as self-portraiture, observational drawing of fruit, edible sculpture and landscape painting – all while having fun and getting (a little) messy! Todd Stahl is an award-winning high school art teacher, painter, and dad. The idea for the class was born from having fun art time with his daughter. All supplies included.

    How Cool is That? Jr. Engineering for Kids Camp (Ages 6-14)
    Innovate, Design, And Build. Children take concepts in Math and Science and apply them in our Jr. Engineering program to build machines that work. Is there a better way to learn Math and Science than by applying Math and Science? Gears, Pulley’s Wheels and Axles, Magnetism, Electricity among many other concepts are applied in every class so that students don't memorize concepts, they learn and understand them. Each class participants will complete a different project.
