Register early and often so your programs do not get cancelled! Programs that have not met their minimum may be cancelled one week prior to the program start date.

    1739 - Figure Skating 101

    Figure Skating 101 (Ages 3 and UP)
    As an introduction to the sport of figure skating, participants will build upon the fundamental skills learned in the Skating 101 Program. Beginners are taught the basic fundamentals of footwork, spinning, or jumping. Our world class instructional staff create a learning environment that is that is both positive and motivational, giving all students an opportunity to thrive in the sport while having fun doing so. Must be able to skate or have taken Skating 101 program.

    1740 - Skating 101

    Skating 101 (Ages 3 and UP)
    This is the entry-level program for anyone looking to play ice hockey, figure skate, or who simply has a desire to master the skills of ice skating for recreational purposes. It is designed for beginners of all ages and is run by professionally trained ice hockey and figure skating instructional staff. Rental skates are provided at no cost, if needed; and each class is broken up by age and skill levels, creating a safe and enjoyable skating experience for all participants. Each class is broken into two 25-minute segments - one dedicated for on-ice lessons and one dedicated to practice time where participants get an opportunity to work on the learned skills.
    Please bring a bike/hockey helmet for safety.

    Hockey 101 (All Ages)
    Hockey 101 is the Step #1 of the Iceplex Learn to Play Hockey Programs. This program is designed with an emphasis on having fun and creating a positive and comfortable learning atmosphere. The goal of Hockey 101 is to introduce participants to the game of ice hockey. Participants will gear up in full equipment for the first time, taking the ice as a real hockey player! H101 focuses solely on phase 1 hockey skills; skating, early stick handling, and shooting techniques. This into to the game of hockey will allow skaters an opportunity to test the waters and see if they enjoy the fastest game on earth!

    Gym Babies (Ages 6-18 mo.)
    This introductory movement class for your child is full of age appropriate activities which promote cruising, crawling and eventually that ever elusive first step! Be there as your child builds motor skills on soft play mats, learns through music and sensory props, and enjoys social time with parachutes all in a safe, clean, nurturing environment.     4742 - Mini Musketeers

    Mini Musketeers (Ages 4-7)

    Calling all Mini Musketeers: come play pirate and other fun games in this safe introduction to the sport of fencing. Start with warm up, obstacle courses, and skill building activities to develop focus, agility, balance, and hand/eye coordination. Games are used to teach the basic footwork and arm action. Children experience the thrill of sword play in the context of a structured class and build self-confidence using specialized plastic foils, chest plates and masks. New skills are practiced one-on-one with the coach. Sneakers required.

    Girl Power! Cheer Squad (Ages 6-9)
    This class is a great way for girls to get excited about fitness in a comfortable fun environment! The class will incorporate cheer stretches and songs. Girls will work on self-confidence and team work. At the end of the 6 weeks girls will have created a full cheer routine. Come dressed for activity and bring a water bottle.
